We stopped here since we were staying at the Harbor View Inn. The tasting room is on the second story of one of the shop buildings and overlooks the ocean which makes for a lovely view. The wines are good (they offer two different flights: whites or reds) and are fairly inexpensive. The service is mixed. There is one young... More

After a fun walk along the Urban Wine Trail (must do!) we landed here for our final stop. Walked up the flight of stairs to the hiddent asting room on the back of some souvenir stores. The view is absolutely lovely as described, but the wine left much to be desired. We seleted the general tasting list, which gave us... More

While staying in Santa Barbara we decided to walk on the pier and discovered the Deep Sea Wine tasting room. Located on the second story of one of the shops was a wine tasting bar with a patio overlooking the ocean. We shared a tasting while watching the dolphins and listening to some great music. The wine was very good... More

We first visited them last year, and didn't know Deep Sea/Conway Wines had leased the space formerly occupied by a generic wine tasting facility. We enjoyed their wines, service, and ambiance so much we joined their wine club on first visit. We visit at least once a month and highly recommend you enjoy them as well.

Deep Sea Wine is a Conway Family winerey. And "family" is the key here. The people make you feel like you've just stepped into your living room, with a good book and a fine glass of wine. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The pours are generous enough that you can actually tast the wine. And the wine.. amazing! I... More

This is a fun place to wine taste or have a glass of wine. There are a large selection of wines to taste. The wine by the glass selection is okay. None of the wines are exceptional, but it is a great place to go for the view.

My sister and law and I had a day to spend in Santa Barbara and I am glad we made this one of our stops! The tasting was very reasonable, the wines were great, and the view was excellent. The staff was very friendly, and gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our afternoon!

My boyfriend and I stopped by here on Wednesday night for a glass of wine in the late afternoon. This is a gem of a place on the pier, tucked above a tacky tourist shop. They have a great selection of wines. We just went for a glass, but next time, we will definitely try a tasting. One let down,... More

My husband (his first wine tasting) and I (I've done a couple) had a lovely time tasting about 12 wines right around sunset during our recent trip to Santa Barbara. Highly recommend for a nice hour or two in Santa Barbara- the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly!

Went with a group of friends. We'd printed the coupon online which was good for a free glass of chardonnay. We planned to have the chard, then pay for the other wines on the menu. The smiling employee, quickly turned snippy when we presented our coupons. She tersely poured the wines, and acted put-out and inconvenienced in doing so. Several... More
