We were here in late April...off a ship doing a west coast cruise. We wanted to do some wine tasting...but did not have the time to go all the way to the winerys in the Santa Ynez Valley...so we decided to go to the tasting room of the oldest winery in Santa Barbara. Did we make the right decision! Yes!!!... More

We came here thanks to a certificate from the Upham. We had 6 free tastings. The girl knew her wine! She was so good that the hubby bought a bottle of wine. Great service and super friendly staff.

Great staff, open early and great wines. What more do you need. The staff can answer any questions you have. On weekend afternoons they have olive oil tastings as well. This place does get busy in the afternoon on weekends but they all have this problem. It just means they're popular and that means they're doing something right.

This was not just a good winery with good wine, but it was also a fun place to wine taste. We had fun and more than our fair share of wine. We walked out of the place with a wine club membership and a 5 liter bottle of a 2006 Syrah. No special occasion for that bottle because the occasion... More

The customer service at the wine tasting facility is always top notch. I have always had a great time tasting here. Last week while tasting was no exception. The people that pour are very knowledgable. The wines are all pretty good, too. There is also a lot of great merchandise in the facility to buy- great place to shop for... More

My wife and I typically travel to Sonoma/Napa up north but decided to try the LA area on this trip. Compared to the wine tastings we've had up north, this winery was nice, but nothing above average I'd say. The wines were tasty and the atmosphere was nice; most people were standing around a large wrap-around bar area doing wine... More

Enjoyed the pick up party...friendly atmosphere...great wine and cheese. We love sitting on the patio and always wind up making new friends...people drinking wine are just so friendly!:) Quick suggestion...add additional seating during pick up parties...the members would appreciate sitting and enjoying their last glass after picking up their current shipment ...we were lucky to be able to sit this... This is a really fun and friendly tasting room. The price to taste is reasonable and you get to keep the glass. We found tasting prices really vary in the downtown tasting rooms. We liked their wines so much we joined the wine club.

Great urban setting for a tasting room. The staff and pourers were friendly and knowledgeable. Met some very nice people while tasting and very much enjoyed our visit.
