We were lucky enough to enjoy Keola Beamer and his gorgeous Hawaiian slack-key guitar playing...in the intimate and historic ambiance of the Lobero Theatre..where every seat is a good one...what a terrific evening!

Saw "Sound City" here during the Santa Barbara Film Festival 2013, and have to say the sound and the image were great. I have not seen live music here, but I suspect it is a great sounding room. Smaller and tighter than the Arlington. There are no concessions or food of any kind, so eat before you come! Friendly staff... More

We live in Santa Barbara and my only regret is that we don't get to visit the Lobero more often. It's a lovely venue with every seat being a good seat. My only thought would be that it suffers from the same affliction every theater in America has, too little leg room. Other than that, fabulous in every way.

We attended "Legally Blonde" which was put on by teenagers who were not very talented. We were not told when we purchased the tickets that this was a student event. Most of the singing was screeching; the plot was stupid. We left at the first break.

A beautiful, old world, intimate, cozy theater where you can spend time with the best of touring national and international performers from jazz, rock, opera, theater, comedy, lectures etc

The Tuesday CAMA concerts are amazing, they have had Lang-Lang and many other stellar classical performers. I have seen several Beethoven piano concertos performed there. Really good acoustics and caring people.

This is a grand old theater. There is not a bad seat in the house. The seats are a bit small and not a lot of leg room for 6'4". They have wonderful shows and concerts here, and there are lots of fine restaurants within walking distance.
