Just a short drive from Goleta on the way to San Luis Obispo. We pack a lunch and picnic in the quiet of the park. Needs better upkeep.

Fun and easy little hike to waterfall. Pretty area, who knew that was there. Easy to get to and close to Solvang.

Flow of water was a trickle. But it's a short hike to get to so didn't mind terribly that it was a bit of a let down.

Nice place to visit. Not much water going over the falls normally but still fun. Take the back road into Solvang for the scenic drive (turn right out of the park and stay on the road...not that you have any choice!) During the weekend it's a little busy, but not bad. Watch your kids, there are a lot of steep... More

Round trip from Santa Barbara we leisurely enjoyed ourselves for 3 hours. 45 minutes to get there, hour and a half hanging out by the falls and 45 minutes back. I would recommend you go. Trail is more of a walk than a hike. Wheelchair might have some difficulty because there are some steps to climb up.

It's a short drive and the walk to the falls is easy, even for little kids. There's lots of poison oak off the beaten path but the trail is wide and simple. The park is broad and wide and it's a wonderful place to have parties in the spring and summer, especially.

We started off with a BBQ on the picnic grounds with the kids. If you do this remember to bring your own charcoal and matches, as these are not electric/gas grills. While we were eating we saw deer and wild turkeys, so have your camera ready at all times! Next was the short hike. Absolutely gorgeous walk through trees and... More

Beautiful park, but the falls were much smaller than I expected, and very, very crowded during the weekends. Would definately recommend it, but go during the week..

Best in spring after lots of rain. Very green park, nice place for a picnic. Beautiful falls, narrow streams, unusual.

A great little walk to the falls and then a nice picnic to finish the day. This is so family friendly..the walk to the falls is so short and not strenuous.
