Water park is worth the entrance fee. Check the calendar because the water area is open a limited amount of time. Sneak in your own food.

I grew up going to Great America every summer with my friends. Now that I have kids of my own I try to take them as often as I can. we love this place.

I loved this place when I was little, but it seems to have gone downhill. I went a couple of years ago to take some kids with a summer camp that I was working with, and was pretty disappointed. Best thrill park in Bay Area! Rides are above average, but park itself seems to be showing it's age. Water is cold at the water theme park. Little kiddie rides are adequate.

Good for teenagers who like thrill rides. The rides for small children are okay. Food available at the park is mediocre.

The park has always been a must-do on my family's summer activity list. There is something for everyone in the family. It is well-maintained and clean. Just keep the little ones close... it's a big park.
