This is a special place if you don't like urban colleges. A great place to study and be with nature.

We took a tour of the campus; wow! Absolutely stunning environment! My daughter is thrilled to be an incoming Freshman Slug!

Loved the Experimental Theater production of Peer Gynt. A close and personal experience with amazing student performers alongside professional actors. Congratulations to everyone involved in the production!

A hidden gem on campus is the arboretum. They have a wonderful array of plants from Australia and New Zealand. The gardens are gorgeous and you shouldn't miss the hummingbird walk--amazing!

The only reason we drove through was because it currently shows up as the #1 attraction in Santa Cruz. It was fairly nice being in the country and not in town, but we didn't see it as an attraction.

A dreamy fairly-tale campus, with deer roaming around. Worth a visit if you are in the area for more than one day. If you are visiting for a day, just stay at the beach.

This is a stunning campus in the midst of the redwood forest. It has a great ambience, and there are wild deer everywhere. Have yet to see the elusive banana slug.

There is a arboretum ($5. entry fee) that is enormous and beautiful - Lots of hilly walking. It was just fun to drive through the campus because it is so nice.

I was fairly familiar with the UCSC campus 20 years ago and recently returned just to see what had changed. One thing that has remained constant is the breathtaking views it offers of the Pacific Ocean, Monterey Bay, and the surrounding areas. It is beautiful to drive around campus but I highly encourage you to park your car and get... More

This campus is a beautiful place to go for a walk in the woods. There are trails between all the colleges, bridges suspended over deep ravines, lots of hills to climb. It was great exercise! However, you need to be safe here. I wouldn't walk alone. After I went home from a hike throughout the campus one afternoon, the news... More
