Not much beach at high tide. Restrooms dirty and very smelly. Bring lunch. Pack your trash!! Obnoxious teenagers with potty mouths.

There are probably better vantage points to observe this area of natural iconic beauty but part of the attraction here is to be amongst the scenery of people that are either surfing or watching the surfing activity. Must see spot to get the spirit of Santa Cruz lifestyle.

This isn't the sort of beach for those who want to go lay out in the sun for hours. In fact, there really isn't much sandy beach at all. But, for those who want to surf and play in the water, this is the perfect spot, especially for beginners. The water is fairly shallow and you'll rarely be out there... More
