This is a breeding ranch for miniature horses. May is prime time for babies, so imaging miniature horse babies! So cute and so small! Great for everyone, lots of folks brought their babies. Don't miss it.

My husband and I stopped by to see the "minis" during our trip to Solvang. The horses are beautiful, very well cared for and are so fun to watch. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept. All and all, a very pleasant experience. The people that work there are friendly and knowledgable. A must see in Solvang!
Everyone will love this place. It is so peaceful and beautiful. The miniature horses were so wonderful and friendly. You can get really close to them but do not feed them. You could take all of the pictures and the staff there were happy to answer questions.
When we were there we got to see a 2 day old foal...

This place is worth a peek. These little creatures are friendly, cute, and loved to be petted. The staff was friendly in answering questions and we enjoyed looking at all of the varieties. It was a nice little stop for a few minutes. Bring some wet wipes or hand sanitizer if you plan on petting the miniatures.
It's free and what a peaceful setting - right off the road with easy parking. The little horses were smaller than the Great Dane we used to have. Amazing to see close up.
Lots of fun to see and to pet the horses as long as they come up to you at the fence. No feeding allowed. No cost to visitors.
It's always worth a 5-10 minute stop at Quicksilver Ranch to observe their miniature horses up close. There's no fee.
We loved seeing the miniature horses (you can even pet the very young ones). Admission is free (donations accepted). It's a delightful place to stop, particularly with children.
ON our trip to Solvang we stopped here to see the horses. They have different areas to view the horses. No information or staff to inforrm you, worth a quick stop,if you are in the area, would not travel a long way to get here.....
Quicksilver Ranch has the cutest mini-horses! It's not a petting zoo, but is a place where you can look at the adorable horses. I would have been happy to pay a few bucks in admission, but it's completely free to visit. Definitely not a place you'll want to spend hours at, but great for a leisurely walk around and a break...
