very beautiful farm land yes. Thing is the majority of the US is full of beautiful farm land. Reminded me of the Sacs fifth avenue of farming. Again gorgeous but all farming to me is? Unless you are a lush its way over rated. Great flowers, animals, and gardens.

Sonoma is the quiet/hidden sister valley to Napa. Everybody who goes to wine country thinks Napa up front, but the truth is, Sonoma valley is better. Its a quieter valley and has the same high quality experiences you'll get in Napa. We much preferred to stay in Sonoma for our tours and you'll think the same way once you check... More

When I graduated from the local high school in 1960, there were four wineries in the whole Valley. Since then the open space has been largely filled by vineyards rather than houses. We have the best Plaza in Wine Country and lots of gret places to eat, which I will comment on. Enjoy!

This beautiful wine growing region is less well known than Napa Valley, but in my opinion produces deeper and fuller flavoured wines due to the rocky terrain. There are an abundance of great wineries from the small and intimate cave setting of Deerfield Ranch, to the large Sterling winery, which deploys cable cars to allow you to sample their delights! Many... More

I have had the pleasure of driving through the vineyards for the past 18 years. So, if you are in the area, please take the drive through the Sonoma Valley and enjoy wine country

Sonoma valley is less known than Napa, but is less touristic. Renting a bike a the Sonoma Valley Bike Tours is a must. The Sonoma valley mountain road leads you to very quiet, but steep roads.

We had a great wine tasting from white to red.Their wines are all great. They sell many wine accessories in their store. The scenery on the ride up was lovely. We... More

Liked it all. Wineries are wonderful places to visit and talk to hosts who have such knowledge of the history of the area. All the wineries act like famiies

Drove from Sonoma up to Healdsburg over the course of a day. Stopped for wine tasting and a little shopping. Loved walking around the galleries. Beautiful day. Would recommend area to anyone.

The Sonoma Valley has something for everyone! My mother wanted to see a gallery with glass sculpture, my sister wanted to go to two wineries she'd had in mind ( there are more than two!), and I love the craft shops! We all had a great time. Mom is still enjoying her glass piece.
