Worst service on earth! We booked a school field trip after reading the "hamburger farm offerings" on their website. When we arrived following a 45 minute drive the owner stated that the train wasn't operating (which is the first thing advertised on their website). Instead of offering credit towards the already expensive 10 dollar tickets, she handed us a handful... More

Our spring Hamburger Farm field trip includes a 45 minute guided tour of a field planted in most of the crops necessary to make a hamburger. Hands on activities for students include grinding wheat into flour; milking a pretend cow; digging onions and potatoes; and slicing potatoes into French fries. Students and chaperones also get a hamburger lunch prepared for... More

Out in the middle of nowhere is this very cool pumpkin farm (way more than just a farm) excursion that is well worth a visit... at any age!

Two adults, 3 children ages 5 and 3. I can honestly say that none of us were ever bored. So much to do at this very busy pumpkin farm. If you like petting zoo's,trains, slides and pumpkins....this is the best place to be. Other posters have mentioned the crowds. I went on the last Saturday of the year...right before Halloween.... Great fun for the whole family. Petting Zoo, Train Rides(fee), Pig races, Zip Lines (Fee), Corn Maze (Fee), Hayride and much more! There is also food here, tri-tip sandwiches, corn dogs, burgers, ice cream, garlic fries, etc. We make this our annual family outing to gather pumpkins. Definitely the spot to go for pumpkins! Only downfall is parking is $10... More

Bishop's used to be our annual tradition for my family. It has gotten so commercial that it saddens me. My family loved their baked goods and would place our order upon arrival to avoid the long lines later. One of my favorites was the pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. The cake was dry and you could barely taste the... More

We started going to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland in 1979 when my daughters were 1 and "on the way"! We went every year for several years and now that they are mothers, we took them and their little boys yesterday along with our granddaughter. The older grandson, 3, with our 4 year old granddaughter had the most fun on... More

Bishops is a great place for fun for the whole family. I've been going every year for pumpkins since I was about 7 (I'm now over 30 and have 2 kids of my own) and it has always had something for the whole family. From the corn maze and hay rides, to the food and seasonal gifts (of course pumpkins... More

This was our first trip. Go early! There is a $10 parking fee on the weekends. This is one busy place - train ride ($), slides, antique tractors, parade, food ($), pony ride ($), corn maze ($), picnic area, hay ride to the pumpkin field, and lots of pumpkins!

My wife and I have been going to Bishop's since before we had kids (10+ years). We absolutely love the atmosphere, but now it is getting very expensive. We used to spend less than $40.00 for a fun day out to well over $150.00. This is great for Bishop, but we are strongly debating whether or not this will be... More
