Close in to The Springs. Fun little hikes for family & kids. Interesting rocks & formations. Best of all there are a couple of excellent resturants (and a brewery for dad) very close to the park.

Loved this place! It's close to the Garden of Gods, but only a fraction of the people. We loved the hikes because they were more challenging and varied. The trails are really well-maintained, and extremely well marked. There are a lot of trails of varied difficulties and lengths, so just about anyone can enjoy the area. Great place to climb... More

It is a beautiful red rock canyon with many trails, a little sister to Garden of the Gods. There are many trails of all skill levels. Perfect for young families , rock climbers, casual hikers or more serious hikers. The green trees growing out of the red rock were beautiful. I enjoyed a lovely late afternoon hike there. There are... More

Similar to GOG, but seems more like biking trails. Natural paths versus paved trails. Great place to exercise and photograph. A little more wide open and thus less crowded. Worth the visit.

If you like or love to walk or hike, this is a beautiful place to experience nature. It is accessable to almost every level of nature seeker. The hidden gem offers so much Colorado magic that you don't want to miss. Try the early mornings and you'll likely encounter the local deer.

We found this on our way back to our hotel after hiking for 3 hours at garden of the gods and wandering manitou springs. As we started hiking, it began to rain. The rock formations are beautiful, and there are miles of trails. Parking lot was crowded, but we only saw a handful of people.

What a gem! It was easy to get to ... actually very close to our campground at Garden of the Gods. Beautiful, well-maintained trails. You can get a map on-line but there's a lot of signs on the trails so you won't get lost. Three levels of trails ... but we found that they all were accessable if you are... More

This is a good place to hike if you want to get away from the crowds at Garden of the Gods but still have similar scenery. Lots of pines and, well, red rock. Very beautiful, and once you're over the ridge, you no longer hear road noise from US 24. Very enjoyable hike, wish they had permanent bathrooms (my only... More

It had snowed and the red rocks outlined against the snow were breathtaking. There were some deer or elk walking around, so we got some good nature photos. I would take a group here for a nice afternoon in the summer or for a great experience in winter.

lots of trails to walk. most are easy and several loops only take about an hour. Dog friendly but they must be on a leash and you must pick up after them. There is a dog park where the leash rule does not apply. You could return many times without doing the same trail twice.
