I always love to find an old bookstore when I visit a new city and I was not disappointed on my recent trip to Denver. I visited the location on 16th Street downtown. The smell of books, creaky old wooden floors, and big chairs to sit in are a draw for many. They have a cafe inside too!

I absolutely love the Tattered Cover. It's in a old building and they have FLOORS of books. The kid section is absolutely wonderful. Their coffee is good too, If you are a book lover do not miss the Tattered Cover. It's down on the end of the 16th street Mall near Union Station.
