I think this was the best 'sanctuary' I have been to. The wolves each have a ton of space and the tour guide was sure to make it clear that they do many things to keep the wolves stimulated and let them live as close to 'free' as possible. With the slaughter that wolves are experiencing in the wild it... More

I was sadden by this wildlife center. I'm not saying I know how to make it better but I just don't see how you can call this a "wild" life center. The wolves most certainly do not have their freedom. The kids will probably like it, but I would make sure that you explain the down side of the wolves'... More

The entire tour is outside. Therefore, if it is cold, dress warm with gloves and good shoes. By the time the tour was halfway over, most of the people just wanted it to get it over with. The wolf center explains how wolves are being hunted and killed and recommend to visit Project Wolf on the internet to get more... More

I was in Colorado Springs with some co-workers. One of the guys had previously lived in Colorado Springs so he made the recommendation to try this place since he had never had the chance. From Colorado Springs it was probably a 45 minute drive but the scenery was pleasant and interesting. We got to the Center and immediately could see... More

This was our third trip to CWWC in less than a year. We went around my birthday the first time, my husband's birthday the second time and we wanted to visit our friends during the winter. We were lucky we missed the below freezing tempuratures and had gorgeous weather on our visit. The wolves coats were thick as were the... More

These people are here for a good cause, don't go into it with a political outlook. They are kinda pushy in their ways but the are dedicated to the wolves and the safety of their breed. With that said we did take the tour and it was very cool to see them playing with each other and interacting with the... More

Very educational. The Center does a tremendous service for wild animals who need care and preservation.

I visited the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center with a group of five in October while on a short trip to Colorado. We only had time to visit a few things in the area and I'm so glad that we decided to make this location one of them. For any visit to the center you must call ahead for a... More

Great place to take kids to see live wolfs in a natural setting and habitat. The owners are passionate about the wolf.
