Prettiest hike in Colorado ! Special. Take a FWB there and hike up to the top. Very romantic ! Hike follows water all the way up.

Hanging Lake Trail was pristine and beautiful. The hike was challenging but worth it to see Hanging Lake and Spouting Rock.

Hanging lake is a must do. If you go, go early, as parking is limited. Take lots of water and sturdy shoes (no flip flops). There are great photo opportunities so take a camera or phone with a camera. Make sure to visit Spouting Rock while you are there.

This hike was amazing. It had spots that were a bit strenuous, but not bad and the scenery was incredible. I could not believe that it would get any more beautiful and then we walked a hundred feet and it was! We started at 830 in the morning. we had heard that the parking lot fills up so we planned... First time doing a real hike in the mountains. What a great experience. We did not make it all the way to the top, but no problem turning back. It is a trail but tons of small rocks to make you way around. As long as you take your time, wear proper shoes, and are semi physically fit, you will... More

Not for the faint of heart or anyone with knee or joint issues. The trail is steep with lots and lots of rocks to climb over. Even though we had lots of water and most of the trail is covered by trees, our group flew through the water. But when you reach the top, all the pain is forgotten. As... More

Carry a single bottle of water and pretty sturdy shoes. You dont need excellent physical health to get to the lake. Will not break a sweat. Once you reach the top the view of the lake is worth 30 minutes. you also get to share the canyons and take beautiful photographs from the top. Just get there as early as... More

This beautiful place may be at risk from being 'loved too much'. On a Friday morning, we barely got a place to park at the large trailhead due to the crowd and you are with lots and lots of others on the trail, at the lake and on the way back down. If you go, PLEASE respect mother nature, don't... More

I am not a hiker but I made it up and back. It was worth the sweat. We could not take a bad picture.
