Lots of scree made this much harder than we would have guessed. There were also some VERY narrow parts of the trail that, along with the scree, made it especially scary for my wife. We did not complete the entire trail.
There are some beautiful spots in this hike - mountain views, waterfall, incredible canyon, cave and town views. I would consider it an easy-moderate hike. There is some climbing but it never lasts long.
A great workout, and gorgeous way to explore the area! Beautiful aspen stands, streams, all kinds of different eco-systems----loved it!
