When your in Palisade to visit the wineries and orchards, make sure to stop at the Meadery. Not only educational, but great tasting. We left with a nice bottle of wine and some spices for the crock-pot. Friendly people and very convenient location.

My husband and I found the Meadery to be a wonderfully experience! Visiting relatives in Grand Junction we decided to stay in Palisade and tour the wineries. This was our first stop and was definitely a hard act to follow. We both enjoy wine and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed this mead! We tasted almost all of... More

I stop at the Meadery each year when I make my trek to Grand Junction to visit my accounting clients. I take home gifts of wines that always seem to inspire my friends to visit Palisade. I hope the bees stay in this valley.

Spent he day skiing powder horn and stopped in on the way back to grand junction. I had never tried mead and loved the different tastes, everything from dry to dessert wines along with a gift shop filled with bee and honey items. Great stop!

The Meadery was a unique experience and quite enjoyable. The wines do taste a little different but what would you expect. I never knew there could be such a variety. Be sure to taste the chocolate cherry variety.

I stop in here every time I go from my place in Moab to the in-laws in Ft. Collins. I have only ever had top rate service and found wonderful thank you gifts and adult beverage for every occasion. This most recent stop we found an amazing chocolate cherry Mead and of course a reliably delish personal favorite. The staff... More

Being on a wine tour throughout Palisade in a limo no less. What a great experience!! Meadery of the Rockies was our last stop (because of time). The Hostess was fantastic, even though it was close to closing time. The wine was spectacular. Great way to end our tour.

Even though Palisade is known for Peaches, my favorite stop in Palisade is the Meadery of the Rockies! We found it because as beekeepers we are interested in Mead in general, and until I had the mead from Meadery of the Rockies, I didn't even know mead could be so good. The first time I thought Peach was my favorite... More

At my sister's suggestion, we stopped at the Meadery of the Rockies on our trip from southern Colorado to Denver. The woman behind the counter was friendly and immediately offered us a chance to sample a variety of mead wines. We started with "Lancelot" which was refreshing and light, then tried several other fruity meads before ending with the "Raspberry... More

This was one of our favorite stops during our sightseeing of the Rockies. The free mead (honey wine) tasting was wonderful. We loved every one of them and bought four bottles, plus other merchandise from their shop. Learning about mead and wine making was very interesting.
