Free gardens to stroll through that are taken care of by volunteers. Nice lake in the middle, places to sit and enjoy the view. Nice place to go for a family picnic lunch. Defenitely worth a visit.

A very well maintained and beautiful garden kept up by volunteers for the most part. Idyllic setting and a thing of beauty with free weekly concerts in the early summer. Don't miss it.

What a pleasant surprise to walk through this city park. The flowers and trees were still beautiful in the fall. I could just imagine how beautiful in the spring and summer. It was always oh wow, look at this and oh wow, look at that. We loved it!!

I wasn't expecting much, but found a delightful gem. Gorgeous flowers inter mingled with the fall colors of the trees. Easy to follow paths meander through well-marked botanicals, creeks and ponds. Compact, but an enjoyable way to spend some time.

We're so glad we decided to view the botanical gardens in Steamboat. The gardens are well maintained with many varieties that are all identified. If you have to pick one site to visit in Steamboat, make it the Yampa River Botanic Park. Just sit on a park bench and soak up the beauty of your surroundings.

A small but beautiful botanic garden. Lovely paths and theme areas with many benches that have memorial dedications. There are signs on Hwy 40 that will point you to it, or you can ride your bike to the entrance along the Yampa Core Trail. Very peaceful and calming.
