Great ride! Resort keeps their equipment clean and running well. I found each gondola free from graffiti and trash. The staff help you with your gear especially if you are tired or moving slow.

So you can have a nice ride up, a couple of apps and drinks at happy hour prices and ride the gondola down when you're finished. "Missed the Boat" was the entertainment for the night and puts on a great show! Live music, people watching, good for kids and adults alike. All a great time!

The gondola is a very comfortable ride - it is enclosed and has wonderful views. However, it did break down on our third day. since I was a non-skier, I was placed on one of the ski lifts and then shuttled by car to the base. Thankfully, it was a beautiful day and it was quite a picturesque adventure.

Always enjoy taking the gondola to the top and enjoying the scenery. On Thursday nights (Winter) there is a fantastic sundown happy hour with nice music. Mostly adults (pls leave your kids at home :)) Party with the locals, enjoy the music, discounted apps and drinks, and the fantastic sunset.

In fridgid weather, the Gondola is a welcome way to get up the mountain to start a day of skiing! Easy to get on and off and the lodge at the top is a great meet up place if you're skiing with a group. The lodge has great views to enjoy during lunch and breaks.

Rode up the mountain to the restaurant on the gondola. Great views. My sister is afraid of heights, but she went anyway. Although she prayed a lot, she loved the views. Thaw out for a few minutes when you take the gondola up to mid-mountain. The operation is well run and the guys that were working there even took my skis and put them in the rack for me. Everyone is so nice and friendly!

The gondola at Steamboat is definitely the way to travel up the mountain. Warm, cozy & a quick ride. It will take you to the midpoint of the mountain & you can go from there. We took it almost every time and never had much of a wait.
