You must go at least once. The experience is wonderful -- This theatre is quaint and the stage settings are beautiful. For my experience, it was always a wonderful performance. Ladies rooms are tiny and get ready to queue up.

We have been season ticket holders for four years. The theater is a historic building in great shape. The staff has been written up by multitude of theater reviewers including the NY Times.
This little neighborhood theater does an amazing job with every production. I have been a season ticket holder since the beginning and each season has been better than the one before. They always offer fresh, new entertainment and never disappoint with their talent. The last play of the 2013 season, "Educating Rita", was delightful and I highly recommend you see...

One of the best kept secrets of Ft Myers. Hands down, the best local theater groups we have ever experienced. The plays are fun and up-to-date and the wonderful casts are difficult to differentiate from those at the Barbara B Mann Broadway Series casts, in terms of professionalism. A great take at reasonable prices and free parking to boot!
We attended a play, called Odyssey, especially designed for children and many school children were in attendance as part of a school field trip. The theater where the play was held was small and close, but did the job well. The actors conveyed the play with professionalism and expertise with limited amount of costumes, and set decorations. This play was...

Have been going to the FRT for several years. Their plays, actors, theatre, parking are all exceptional. It is rare that you can't get more than your money's worth at either of their theatres.
Great performance of The Fantastiks! Couldn't get closer and the acting was terrific. It's the smaller of the two performance areas and only holds about 80 people. The actors were excellent and the show was great fun.
So we saw a show at Florida Rep. A beautiful theater near the river front in downtown Fort Myers. This is a very nice theatre, wonderful seating, great scenery, good cast. We saw the play Other Desert Cities; this play was very offensive to us since they insisted on constantly taking the Lord's name in vain and in my opinion it did not need to have that element in the writing.
Love this little theatre, we go often and its like having New York in charming downtown fort myers. We go as often as we can and enjoy every performance.
