Clam Bayou is a great place for a relaxing walk along a series of inlets and mangrove. The trail includes walkways out to nearby islands for a better view of the fish and birds that frequent the area. There are nesting Osprey overlooking the trail and if you are lucky you will see one catching a fish. The trails are... More

This park is right downtown next to the marina. The hiking trail is short but educational with lots of great photo opportunities. It's not Yellowstone but it is convenient, clean, unique, fun, and free. Certainly worth the minimal time investment.

If you're not a big walker, it is a nice place to take a short walk and enjoy some of the Florida outdoors... but once you've done it a couple of times i find myself wanting something new. But a nice local place to visit.

Worth visiting when in area, but too small for serious nature activity.

We were staying at Bermuda Bay condos next door and took a walk to the newly opened nature preserve and fell in love with this sweet spot. The husband fished, I brought a chair and a good book and say under the palms in the shade and watched birds. While we were walking we saw a sign warning of special... More

Stumbled upon the park while exploring the Gulfport area. Seemed dry and uninteresting from the driveway/parking area but once we began to walk along the trail we were very pleasantly surprised. Many water viewpoints, good birding spots, interesting shells line the path, and it was not crowded. Nice place for a stroll, bring water. Benches along the way. Beautiful views... More

The winding trails, hidden vistas..so much wildlife from a reclaimed area. Small, but sweet.

It is located adjacent to the Gulfport Marina. I bike to it most mornings when I am in florida. There are gravel walking trails that lead to small piers and decks on the water areas. I have not kayaked it yet, however there are kayak tours of the bayou. The city is doing a lot of work to keep chemicals... More

Nice little area, but really not that much to see or do. We walked. We took pictures. We looked at trees and spotted a few birds, but this was a bit disappointing. There is a 5 foot walking trail, but it's not a very long walk. In my opinion, not really worth a special trip, but if you're in the... More
