A large excellent public beach with a good beach house including restrooms, a restaurant, shops and...great sand. Decent parking. Highly recommend the excellent all you can eat breakfast on the beach.

Good food and coffee, good place for people watching. Great beach. Can walk this beach for miles or can get free trolley there.

Went w/ friends for early breakfast. Fairly priced with large menu. Beach is groomed daily? Machine was picking up sea weed and debris that had washed ashore at high tide. Water has green/blue color. You can wade out along ways before water gets too deep.

This is just a great beach for walking, swimming, or observing natural life..people, dolphins, stingrays, fish, starfish, shells.

I drove from Clearwater to Anna Maria Island and went to Manatee Beach. My wife and I really enjoyed this public beach. It has plenty of parking spaces and it's free! Love, love, love this beach. It was kind of crowded when we went, which I find unusual for a west coast beach. Love the color of the water, bathrooms could have been cleaner. There is a snack bar type restaurant and a bar. Relaxing way to spend the day.

A great beach that is almost never crowded. Its not very developed and has few amenities but you can't beat the access. Great for long walks.

Wonderful place to visit. Water is soooo pretty. Lots of parking & lots of beach space. All beaches thru this area are very nice. I was there on a weekend mid day & it was not overly crowded. I'm use to massive amounts of people & no parking. Will go back.

I love Manatee Beach for the cleanliness, ability to watch the wildlife close up (dolphins, turtle nests, crabs, birds, etc...) Other than holidays and school breaks this beach is really not busy at all. Love the white white soft sand.
