Too big to see in one dive. Strong current but you descend on a line so no worries there. The most awesome thing is the American flag that flies on her, underwater. Amazing to think...she sank on her side but a hurricane righted her...that's some awesome power at 130fsw. Saw a scorpionfish. Loved the barracuda who seem to stand as... More

As an experienced wreck diver, this one still delights me every time I visit. A big ship, with many interesting features. Served by many excellent dive operations.

My son (14) and I did this dive yesterday with Horizon Divers. We had a great time. He is junior advanced so we didn't go too deep, but we did see a lot of large fish. It is a very easy ride out to the site, maybe 30 minutes. On our dive the visibility was maybe 50 feet and there... More

This dive is great. It is always a different challenge each dive. Overall the Spiegel has great life on it and so many passage ways that you can go over and over without getting bored.

It is deep, so Nitrox is best for recreational divers. Lots of really good history and stories about this awesome wreck.

This wreck and the marine life are great, but you have to be careful. Only penetrate the wreck when you can see light at the other end.

This is a wreck that i could dive twice a day for a week, and not get bored. It was designed for penetration, with multiple long hallways, rooms and depth. The biggest grouper you'll see live here too.

I got my Advanced Open Water cert with Amoray and dove the Spiegel Grove as my "Deep Dive." Vis was bad that week, but the wreck was excellent, tons of wildlife.

It truly looks like what you would imagine an old dive wreck to look like. Lots of marine growth and opportunity for pelagic fish viewing.

I wasn't fan of wrecks but this one changed my mind. Was the most beautiful experience I ever had in a wreck. That enormous ship made me feel like I was flying like in a Sci Fi movie. The plantation of corals in the roof is something amazing by its nature. Highly recommend this dive.
