If you're a people-watcher, drop by Mallory Square to see street performers (never know what), finger foods, and of course a fine sunset. Impromptu performances are different every evening. Might want to bring a folding chair as seating is limited to various concrete walls here and there.
Cruise ships tie up there, so be prepared for some busy days; but...

For a free thing to do in Key West, this is great! Lots of street entertainers and goods for sale. Just keep an eye on your wallet/purse, and don't get too flashy.
I was expecting it to be really crowded and was pleasently surprised.A fun, crazy sort of place, very interesting and full of stuff to see.Didn't catch The Green Flash, but I plan to keep trying! Really, don't miss this experience.
My husband & I headed down to the square to watch the sunset, it was busy with performers and people were lined up to watch the sunset. We ended up going to the Westin outdoor patio to have a drink & appetizer so we could get a good view
Don't miss the sunset celebration at Mallory Square. The street performers have some awesome shows. Lots of fun and a great way to end a day in Key West

What more can you say than Mallory Square. Whomever has visited understands. Lots of things to see, beautiful scenery, and a fantastic sunset.
Even though we didn't get to see the great sunsets because of the Tropical Storm weather we had most of the time, we did get to experience some good artists and interesting entertainment.
