I was there with my sun's class on a field trip an had an awesome time. With the tour we learnt so much and heart about plants and wild life. It's an educational trip when you have a tour to see the interesting stuff on the path. Without tour I guess it's boring.

This organization focuses on the endangered sea turtles that share the coast here in Florida. Educational programs for schools, adult groups, and events. They have a survey program that is on the beach every day March to October locating nests. If you are in the area June or July, be sure to sign up for a Sea Turtle Nesting Walk.... More

Very educational place for its size. If you are looking for turtles; they don't have any. Something about not having a permit for them. There is a nice beach next to it to enjoy. Few fishermen and hardly anyone else used this beach. It was like having our own private beach. Saw dolphins swimming nearby and a pair of manatee... More

My mom and I visited their storefront in August just to see what they're all about, and there was a very helpful gentleman there who was so willing to answer all of our questions. While we were there, a couple of lifeguards brought in a seaturtle hatchling that had been stranded in the dunes. It was so amazing to see... More

Technically the store is in Indialantic, just south of 5th Avenue on A1A. First, the volunteers running this location are terrific and it's a great cause: this area is the largest nesting locations for endangered sea turtles on the continental US. Second, they have lots of (well priced) shirts, hats and items that you can purchase to support this cause.... More
