Espanola Way its a block with few restaurants and stores, despite her name only has one Spanish restaurant .its a nice ambiance to go during the night, has nice places to eat and a art galleria. we ate twice there and was a nice meal and romantic time there.
This is our favorite street now. Went there every night during our stay for dinner, people watching or coffee. Beautiful, fun, and a very "European" experience just a block from our hotel. You have to visit this little stretch of street at night. You won't be sorry.
Espanola way is a block of Romantic dining experiences, with Italian and Spanish tapa experiences. The street is decorated and has beautiful lighting. Just couple blocks from Lincoln, I believe it's a better choice for couples. A real gem in miami beach.
We ducked into the mexican resturaunt on the corner and had a very good meal. And then walked through the shops on the block it was pretty fun. It's mostly resturaunts but some fun little shops.
With all the lights, it seems to come alive at night. Just seems like little South America in the US. Heaps of Spanish spoken with people and restaurants serving South American food, Mexican, Italian etc. There's also some shops here.
Loads of similar restaurants trying to out do each other on a short stretch of road that wouldn't be out of place in a Disney resort trying to re create a European theme Food at a couple of places was decent. Independant shops broke up the line of restaurant staff trying to persuade you their menu was the best.
I have been to South Beach a few times, but never saw this street. What a cute spot to people watch. We had dinner at an outdoor cafe and absolutely loved it! I would recommend this street over Lincoln Road for dining.
Thoroughly enjoyed the buildings and the ambiance of the street, and visited on three occasions while in Miami Beach. We had two good meals there, some very good gelato and a pleasant afternoon snack with some wine. What ruined the visits were a couple of overly aggressive restaurant hosts who did not seem to be having good evenings. Eliminate those...

The architecture and greenery were nice to see after looking at the art deco bit for a couple of days. There are lots of restaurants and little shops on this little road. It reminded us of the Santa Barbara, CA.
