Third street is the place to bee in Naples. Not as crowded and congested at 5th Ave. Many designer shops that have late hours. (Island Company, Tommy Bahama, Marisas..etc) A must do if you travel to South West Florida.

I was looking forward to our shopping time down 3rd, but was quickly disappointed. The shops are overpriced and only geared towards the older crowd. The restaurants were nice with beautiful outdoor dining areas. We spent maybe an hour walking around. Next time we'll just go for dinner.
Third Street is a perfect destination for people watching and browsing the shops! Our favorite dining establishment is Tommy Bahama's... Secure a table near the sidewalk and let the experience begin... We always split the steak salad... Delicious! The warm bread and flavored butter are superb... 3rd street Naples is not as busy as 5th ave. We has a meal there and did a little walk about. It is an area with several restaurants and some upscale stores. Personally my take on this area is over priced restaurants and shopping. Enjoy
Lots of places to eat most with outdoor seating. Shopping is on the pricey side. Would recommend Jane's for breakfast. Nice garden setting and friendly staff.
Fun area to shop, watch the world go by from Tommy Bahamas outside. Not spectacular dining but adequate when shopping is the primary goal....
The historic downtown is a beautiful area with lots of very upscale shopping, many restaurants, cares and bars, and some of the best people watching around. The "have's" are here in droves, with the "have nots" watching it all play out--LOL! Lovely shops though, and very nice landscaping and plenty of flowers. Parking is difficult, but there are lots here...

A must whilst staying in Naples. The resturants are always busy and classy. Lovely choice of clothes, homeware and gift shops.

Third Street and Fifth Avenue - when people go to Naples to eat or shop, those two areas offer a lot. They are quite different. Third street has lots of restaurants with outdoor seating, upscale shops also - frequent live entertainment (free). Around Thanksgiving they have a tree lighting ceremony, and it "snows". The street lights have snow machines on...
