This replica of Wall South in Washington DC is sobering and stunning at the same time. The City has done a great job maintaining this and one finds flowers and pictures left by the wall in memory of the fallen.

I stumbled upon this memorial on accident. What a find!! It is tastefully done and should be seen be old and young alike. It alos has tributes to other wars (Korea, WW1, WW2). I even found a cousin on the wall. great place!

Pensacola loves its service members. Considered the Mother In-Law of the Navy, it honors those who have served and paid the ultimate price for our freedom. This said it is a very touching and solemn tribute. I think it could have been a bit more original. My rating is bumped up for those it honors.

The wall reminds me of the Vietnam Memorial located in Washington, D.C. but on a, somewhat, smaller scale. It still 'packs a punch' on what it stands for and the thousands of names engraved upon the relective marble. SEMPER FIDELIS !!

Only downside -- name locator not working --hint go on line before you visit if you are looking for a specific name -- just Google Wall south and you should get it.
