A nice way to spend the afternoon and see Florida the way it once was. Lots of wildlife and Deema & Dana do a wonderful job of getting you up close to this hidden part of Florida in the middle of urban sprawl. I loved seeing all of the turtles, alligators, herons, and kites ( a type of bird). Would... More

I was fortunate to have taken a trip on the River Lilly last month and I am still thinking about this magical and informative time. Just off a main road, you step onboard a lovely pontoon boat and proceed into "Old Florida". The beauty is both exciting and calming and the narration is full of marvelous details about the area... The ad just does not do this cruise justice. We had never been to Florida before (being West Coast Canadians) and didn't know what to expect. We had a wonderful time as the Wades are great hosts and truly love what they do. We would recommend anybody , new or old to Florida, to take this tour. Lots of wildlife,... More

This is a great eco cruise that lasts 1.5 hours. You wind your way along a river that is probably much like it was years ago. We saw many mnay different species, including gators, pileated woodpeckers, many types of herons, harriers, etc. Dean and Deena were great hosts. They are both quite knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. I... More

If you want to see lots of turtles, alligators, blue heron, osprey, kite bird, snake bird and mullet jumping out of the water - this is your river cruise! A 1&1/2 hour boat cruise down the north shore of the St. Lucie River was packed front to end with wildlife. The guides also point out the plants and trees native... More

No matter what the ads tell you to see, the River Lilly delivers everything and more. The Wades love this state and this paradise where they live and work. They've been doing this cruise for years and have so much knowledge to share about the habitat that you'll be glad you came. My husband and I get a kick out... More

Husband & wife do a good job together on this cruise. Padded seats on a covered boat made it comfortable on an 82 degree day and the narrator did a good job speaking so even my husband, who has a hearing problem, could hear her. The trip takes about 1 1/2 hour and you see pretty common critters including gators... More

Took this trip today and saw multiple alligators and turtles but the best was a great blue heron trying to eat a mullet almost as big as it was. The captain pulled over so that we could watch. It must have taken the bird 2-3 minutes to get the fish down. It was quite a sight. There were a few... More

Every year I travel to the Treasure Coast area and every time I make a point to grab a spot on the River Lilly. Dana and Deena are wonderful hosts sharing their knowledge and experience with a relaxed, affable syle. You get an eyeful of nature's meanderings in a lovely setting that seems to lull the blood pressure down a... More

This trip is conducted by Dana and Deena Wade, a very experience couple! The launch site was lacking any noticeable sign from the road, but the directions on the website and given by phone were spot on. Once boarded, there was plenty of room on the boat, which was a pontoon boat. The seats were cushioned and very comfortable. Deena... More
