Went on the dark of the moon tour. It was interesting. Didn't see any thing scary....maybe next time! But it was cool climbing the lighthouse in the dark.

Most folks are done within an hour or so. Going to the observation walkway is about the equivalent to 14 stories, with 8 rest platforms along the way. Impressive view.
Although I have seen a few other lighthouse, this was the first one we have actually toured. We climbed all 219 steps to a very lovely view of the area. The lighthouse is well kept, clean and very nice. The grounds are the same. Very clean and relaxing. No doubt this was one of the many favorite places we visited...

Lighthouses rank high or low on people's lists of things to see and do without too much middle ground. This is a lighthouse you should absolutely visit if you ever wondered about the historical significance and oddity of lighthouses. This is one museum where reading the history is really fascinating and worthwhile. There are tours, including Ghost Tours at night,...

This is one place I have wanted to go to for years. And I finally did. It is a beautiful site and the views from the top of the lighthouse are breathtaking. The staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The food at the cafe for lunch was well worth the cost. Very good, very...

If you like or never been in a lighthouse, this one is great. And special. The guides will tell history of it & you can actually climb to the top. Kids love it. I wave from the bottom. Great gift shop as well
Can't say enough good about this place. The tour and the guides were wonderful and very friendly. The view from the top is worth the climb it's not as bad as it looks. All around a very good experience and worth the time.
If you are into history. I mean 1800 history and beyond this is your place. Lots of information and a great learning experience for younger kids. Beautiful gardens as well. Guided tours and worth the walk up to the top of the Lighthouse. That's all I'm going to say. One thing that I don't believe you need to read about...

I am in love with the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum! I always try to visit when I'm in St. Augustine and it gets better every time. The museum and gift shop area is very nice, as is the Keeper's House. The climb to the top of the lighthouse isn't easy, but there are rest areas on each "floor" and...

We planned to take the lighthouse tour with our young daughters (3 year old and a baby) but unfortunately due to height restrictions, we could not go up in the lighthouse together. So I can't comment on the lighthouse itself, because we didn't go, but the gift shop was terrific, the facilities were nice and clean, and were pleasantly surprised...
