The beach itself is the most beautiful on the barrier islands. It's great to make a day of it and have lunch in Pass a Grille and a shopping trip to Nancy Markoe Gallery- one of the most unique shops in the nation. The area is serene and peaceful.
Nice place to spend an afternoon. Cute shops to browse and some good restaurants to stop and have a bite.
Great family beach with enough restaurants, bars and entertainment for all. Small, beachy motels, locally owned restaurants, white sandy beach, parking adjacent beach and a sunset celebration every evening. A great place to spend an afternoon, a weekend a week or more.
Loved mostly everything except the lack of vegetarian options for food and the fact that you have to pay for parking.
There are also lots of good places to eat and drink - the Hurricane Great place to spend the day. Be sure you pay to park, cuz they'll bust you if you don't.

The beach area is immaculate and the water a lovely shade of turquoise blue. There were a variety of vendors and live music adjacent to the beach...

Very clean pretty community where you can walk a short distance to fish in the bay or swim in the Gulf. There are some interesting stores as well. I enjoyed the seeing the ocean swim race and the festivsal the week we visited. I'd prefer to stay there instead of further along St Pete's Beach
