Amazing collection of his work. The movie about his work was well worth the viewing time and really made us appreciate what we saw even more. I wish the collection was larger though- but still well worth the visit.

I love glass art in general and his pieces are amazing but it is a pretty small museum and the gift shop is so so.
I have seen some of Chihuly's glass sculptures in Miami and Atlanta and Nassau. I went here with my parents while vacationing in the St. Petersburg, FL area. It's a great little museum showing of some of of his best of his collection. The admission is reasonable ($14.95 per person). Our guide was a local artists/volunteer for the museum and...

My second time going, I took the docent tour, did not last this time, she was talking too much, but if it is your first time ,it is good.
I had been told they had new pieces, that was not correct but you can never get tired of seeing beautiful glass work.
I liked the movie about his work, you...

Although the museum is small, Chihuly does installations of blown glass in monumental locations. So his style was well-represented. We went inside first, then watched the movie. It was amazing to see how the huge glass pieces are blown, molded and formed.
Although a relatively small art museum, it offers a great collection of Chihuly’s incredible glass art pieces. We have been several times and never cease to be amazed at his creativity and the sheer magnitude of some of his work. Don’t miss this!
Chihuly work is great, except it only takes about 20 mins of you time and while very interesting and pretty the cost is prohibitive.
I'm not really a museum type of guy, but I really enjoyed this glass blowing museum. Recommend you watch the hour long video located just off the lobby first. You will appreciate and enjoy the museum even more if you do this. Bring your camera and you can do this in two to three hours.
What a wonderful collection and presentation for this amazing artists works. Take your time, take the tour, then go back and just enjoy!!
For anyone who loves glass this is an amazing experience. I've seen some of Chihuly's glass in other places in the US but this Collection in St Pete's is just wonderful. It's so well displayed and the lady who took us around was so interesting. Dale Chihuly visited the museum in March and she was so thrilled as she'd been...
