Excellent place to bicycle , people watching at Jerrys while sipping a cub of tea and I don't even miss the traffic Wish I were there

There are so many shops to go to and spend! My daughter especially loves Toys Ahoy as it is one of our favorites. The lady that owns it is absolutely delightful as is her son that often works there! Good shops, well landscaped, friendly staff; but, the early closing hours are not friendly to folks who want to beach all day, eat dinner and then shop for a few minutes. Extended hours at least until 9 p.m. would be helpful.

Very well kept and clean outdoor mall....odd mix of shops, a bit pricey but still not bad...liked the surf shop and good price on sandals...too many jewelry shops...

I liked the fact everyone drove the speed limit and allowed others to get off and on the road with ease. It seemed as if nobody was in a hurry anywhere on this island. Made it a very stress-free holiday!

Traffic crawls along this main drag, where most businesses are located on Sanibel. There are some beautiful homes and lovely greenery and landscaping. Watch your speed--police are always around, but then, you really can't even get up to speed, because of the crazy traffic!!!

The traffic and congestion was awful. Nice drive though and very through to everything you need. Police control at intersections was a big help.

Periwinkle Way is the "Main" street of Sanibel. The street is dotted with gift shops, restaurants, bike shops and grocery stores. We always enjoy Periwinkle Way for shopping, strolling, people watching and dining. You will want to ride your bike up and down this street many times-you will always see something new!!
