The causeway is beautiful, but the main bridge is extremely high. Have someone drive that is not afraid of heights!

Very nice drive across. I do think they over charge people to cross it. $6 each time is high. Should offer week passes
Liked - the view Dis-liked - the price $6.00 A must see, but remember to bring cash! they do not take plastic...
Pull your car right up to the water and set up your chairs for the day. No need to haul your gear anywhere. We have been there several times in the past 2 days. Its a good place to swim, fish, kayak, grill out. Great place to learn how to kayak, paddle board, or windsurf because it is pretty calm...

don't go at night or dusk, better to go during daylight hours. Cute shops along the way for tourists, reasonably priced. Many hotel and overnight accommodations along the way to choose from. Very clean streets and store fronts.
Don't forget to look for shells along the causeway. We saw lots of Sea life as well. There is plenty of room to try your luck fishing as well. The rest rooms are clean and well lit.
We couldn't believe our eyes as we were leaving Sanibel - there wasn't a square inch of sand to sit on, cars where queueing everywhere for a space, the sea was awash with swimmers, kayaks, lilos, people fishing, boats anchored off - WOW just so busy! Beautiful place, fantastic facility but pick your moment!

The only fee for this attraction is $6.00 to go over the bridge. There is no fee to stop at the beaches along the...

Pay $8.00 bucks to go across to Sanibel Island or use e-pass, nice view. People fishing around and about, nice family trip.
Each year when I pull up to the toll booth at the Causeway I spend the best $6 that I will all year. I'm always smiling ear to ear and can hardly contain myself.
