No matter how many times I have been here, all ages appreciate and participate in the exciting search for fossilized shark's teeth, that appear in abundance at this particular beach. Invest in a "Floriday snow shovel" - a long metal arm with a basket for sifting through the sand and capturing the sharks teeth amongst the shells, or simply walk... More

And the new walkways, are great. But,,, the shaded, handicap area. You can't see the Ocean, because the vegetation is to high! Still a Great Place to spend a few hours!

Unfortunately, we were not able to find the prehistoric shark's teeth, but the beauty of this beach makes up for that. Such beautiful water, birds, and white shells. I can hardly wait to return for another visit.

This is a definite visit for families with children, and will keep them occupied for hours. Even more fascinating for me than the shark's teeth is the rock/coral which is just loaded with all kinds of little critter fossils......and when you get tired of that there is the beach.

Nice beach to take good walks or just stretch out in the sun, go swimming, or collect shells. Very popular beach, but usually not too busy to find privacy.

Walking trails, rocks on the shoreline, beautiful! The park is natural and is alongside the coastline (but you cannot see the water from the trail). New bathrooms, and new walking trails. Good parking.

This is a great beach for hunting shark teeth. Not the best for families with younger children swimming because of the rocks, and strong surf. It's better at low tide for swimming. We like this beach because the whole family can enjoy doing something. Lots of fishermen, shark teeth hunters, and waders there. They have a really nice pavilion with... More

this is one of our favorite beaches in venice. Best beach to look for shark teeth. Smoke free new decking and a sparkly clean rest/ shower facility.

Had a lot of sharks teeth on the beach and a few feet in the water. Sharky's, a restaurant with a pier, was great.
