The course was in very good shape for a public facility. Friendly people ecerywhere were a plus. The fairways on the lakemont course were narrow and accuracy was key, but the layout made for an interesting round. Water on most holes, but not that intimidating. Greens were slightly fast, easy to read - they all break towards the mountain. Enjoyed... More

My husband and I golfed the Lakemont course in April and we enjoyed it so much! The course is tough with lots of water and sand but we just kept reminding ourselves to enjoy the beautiful weather and the even more beautiful scenery...you can see the lake and Stone Mountain almost the entire 18 holes! Coming from snowy spring weather... More

We played the lake course and it was nice. The course was challenging. The views were wonderful. The staff courteous. We will definitely play again.

Played the lakemont 18. Stone mountain is a spectacular scenic golf spot for visitors. Loved the drive from atlanta scenery. The course was not prestine due to april but I can only imagine the prestine experience it would be in June on. So glad we played here. Good intermediate course. Some open holes and some challenging golf. Stonemont 18 the... More

This review is for Lakemont. There are two different 18 hole courses at Stone Mountain, Lakemont and Stonemont. Having never played this course before, I had no idea what to expect. And admittedly, I played this course on a very cold, windy day in the dead of winter. Overall, the course was in pretty good shape except for the greens.... More

I was recently in Atlanta and decided to play a round of golf at stone mountain. They have 2 courses. Lakeside and mountain( I think) we played the mountain. $45 . We joined a local on the first tee and found out this course was a RTJ senior course. The course was in good shape , the greens were good... More

Having played here a Couple of times it is never boring, because the surroundings are so beautiful, with the stone mountain being a main feature - course is also well maintained - a great facility ,

I am a bit biased here. I am a huge Stone Mountain fan. I love the feel and beautify of the park and the course is no exception. It just fits. I would say this is a must play in the Atlanta area. One tip: Many say that on the greens, your put will tend to move toward the mountain.... More

Stone Mountain Golf Club has a very nice clubhouse, restaurant, pro shop and locker room. I played the Lakemont course which was a fair challenge for an average golfer. The entire course was in great shape from tee, to fairway, to green, and the sand traps too (ugh!). Rental clubs were good quality current model Callaways. The ball boys were... More
