The lake is so beautiful and there are quit a few restaurants to visit by boat. Shooters Bar & Grill in the Rockford Bay area, The Town of Harrison, The Gateway and Conklin, just to name a few.

We were driving from Montana on I-90 many years ago and came upon Lake Coeur d' Alene. It took our breath away. Fast forward. We purchased an old Craftsman about 1/2 mile from the lake and have absolutely loved the Lake and all it has to offer. DO your own research on activities, which are boundless. Something for everyone, biking,... More

The lake is beautiful. Clean and lots of public space. I found the city of Coeur D'Alene is charming.

I really think it is one of the most beautiful developed lakes in the Pacific North West. I especially love the view of it from the CDA Resort . At Christmas, the ride on the tour boats to the "North Pole" is a special treat for young and old. Fishing has become popular also in certain areas for Kokanee or... More

The lake itself is beautiful. Clean and lots of public space. The city of Coeur d Alene is located within walking distance. Parking is not free and the hotel is beautiful but very pricey. A must see for the whole family.

Many quiet shores, a sandy beach, access right from downtown, and friendly visitors. I especially enjoyed the nighttime moonlit tranquility.

Take one of the boat trips that the Hotel offers. There are several to choose from. Loved the sunset cruise on the lake but take a sweater or jacket with you.

Beautiful big lake. Take a boat ride from the resort and you'll see what I mean. Boat launches are pretty busy on summer weekends. Not too many beaches.

We wanted to move to Coeur d'Alene Lake when we first visited back in the 80's, but although the lake is still beautiful the town's not as charming. The atmosphere may improve during the summer tourist season, but during the spring it seemed more like a haven for biker's and displaced teens. Still, there are ample places to eat and... More
