Even though it was a quick trip, my friends and I really enjoyed Redfish Lake near Stanley, ID. We stayed at one of "creek view" cabins (#41) - not much of a creek view, but a good space to stay, plenty of room for 6-8 people, comfortable beds. Large picnic table outside the cabin. Nice fireplace and they provided the... More

Redfish Lake is amazing. On the one hand it is a throwback to the 1950's with a great lodge, decent restaurant, easy trails near the lake, boat rentals and a tour of the lake. On the other it is the jumping off point for some of the best hiking in the US. Trails to Shangri La and Alpine Lake are... More

Fun camping spot in the summer! Paddle boats, skiing, boating, horseback riding, fishing, biking, hiking, all the fun things you do when you go to a lake to camp! Outlet campground is real close to the lake...walking distance...with nice restroom facilities.

We were told by all to make our way to Stanley Lake when traveling through Idaho last Spring and thus we did. Stayed one night in a nicely appointed rustic room in a quad building at Redfish Lake Lodge. Perfect stay with a nice view. Close to the lake, near a walking trail. Wished for more days and envied the... More

I was here on a work trip to learn about the unique run of redfish lake sockeye salmon - an amazing fish that swims almost 900 miles from the sea to this lake. The Sawtooth mountains, the white sand beaches and the blue water were stunning.

I grew up traveling to Red Fish for camping every summer. It's been 15 years since I've been there. It looked different, a storm blew over so many trees, but so much was the same!!! The camp grounds are new and wonderful!!! Loved our stay and can't wait to return.

There are so many verdicts written about the beauty of Redfish Lake and its surrounding extreme wilderness. I will just not waste my time and try to find more words, they all been used. I’ve been at Redfish Lake 100 times+ over the last 20 years and I still think it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.

Get the scallops and bacon. WOW! The corn puree was amazing as it added sweet flavor. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone!

We only spent a few hours walking around and enjoying the sights, but this lake is beautiful. I would like to come back to stay here for a few days.
