Feeling a bit down from the winter blues, just head to the conservatory. The lush green and the flowering plants will brighten a long dark day. It is so peaceful there.

The greenhouses are great anytime of the year. But check out their special flower exhibits. The Christmas and Spring exhibits are really worth the trip. It's just steps from Lincoln Park Zoo. It's Free. It's a great place to get out of lthe cold for a while.

This was the perfect stop for after the zoo. Pretty and educational and free!! If you like flowers, you will like it here. Plus the greenhouse itself is magnificent to behold.

So refreshing to see green plants and flowers in bloom. Makes me excited for spring and summer flowers! Well layed out with lots of plants. Kids were not excited to go in, but enjoyed the time we spent there. Great location just off of the free zoo! Nice to have affordable attractions to visit with kids in Chicago.

Nice place to stroll to beat the winter blues. You can get great ideas for your backyard and it's warm and lush and it's free with free parking on street. At the entrance, you can see the entrance to the backside of the free Lincoln Park Zoo. The area outside looks to be a cool place to relax in warmer... More

Head to this lush indoor garden especially on a cold winter afternoon. It's like a visit to the tropics. Especially enjoyed the orchid displays. The seasonal flower shows are worth a trip. Located adjacent to the zoo.

Basically, this place is a large botanical garden that is completely indoors. The exhibits are beautiful and colorful and the place is easily navigated. The real bonus to this place is that it's free and you can stay as long as you like. The building itself is also pretty cool. Of particular interest is the Orchid House.
