Although the acoustics are good, I am a fan of smaller venues, where I don't need to bring binoculars.

seen dozens of concerts here and at least 10 sporting events. Good seating for sports and the sound has gotten MUCH better over the past 20 years, but is still not a premier concert venue.
I have seen dozens of concerts here from when it was known as the Rosemont Horizon because it is a handy location, however, the acoustics are awful. It's worth it to pay more for a really good seat or otherwise see your favorite groups elsewhere. The Rosemont Theater, a small venue nearby has terrific acoustics.
The Chicago Wolves games there are very fun though it was actually a few years since I've been there. I'm just using this date because the last date I went is not on here as an option. But, it is very fun, nice clean updated arena. With great food. Fireworks during the pre-game ceremonies. And even better, the Wolves have...

I knew they were not going to be front row floor, but I did not expect that there would be huge banners hanging in our way. If we...

We saw Disney on Ice two years in a row. What a nice time enjoying the skaters and watching the kids' smiles on their faces. There really is "no bad seat in the house" during the setup like the skating venue. The second time we went they offered free parking. That was nice! Of course the souvenirs rob you blind.......

Easy to see the center of the action from where you get seated, or if it's a showing or convention then it's easy to walk around inside. Parking is plentiful. Rosemont is really easy to get to from Chicago or the burbs.
This was a great place to watch a concert. The venue is nicely designed and every seat has a good view. We will be back.
Liked the location - easy to find. Very clean and smaller venue to see the concert better. No rafter seats.
Great outdoor flea market! Lots of planes going overhead, d/t proximity to O'Hare. I've never actually been to an indoor event, but they have everything from concerts to hockey.
