The trail takes you to downtown Carmel. Cute area to explore. Plenty of restaurants and shops. Be sure to check out the Carmel Old Town Antique Mall.
Easy riding trail, very flat. Points of interest along the way. Easy to break your journey and stop off for a drink or a bite to eat along several points on the Monon trail.
The trail is really nice even if you are not willing to workout, just to enjoy a little bit of nature. It's convenient if you want to eat something after exercising. The Carmel and Broad Ripple area are my favorites. I love that trail.

Loved this trail. Very scenic, perfect for running or biking. People are very polite, courteous, totally free. Would love to go there again!
The Monon Trail is an excellent place to walk/jog/run/ride bike. It is well used and there is lots of space. Could use some lighting for night time, late evening use.
This is one of the first rails to trails in Indy and it proved that people love them. Now Indy has tons of trails.
