There are a variety of restaurants, shops, and other venues available to the tourist. It is most popular in the Summer months. A nice choice for the mall weary tourist.
For the size, there are is variety of shopping to do - a wine cellar; handmade soaps; jewelry, etc. We were there on a girls weekend - I like the store Blue Sky the best - unique items and we at supper at 11th Street Precinct and everyone had delicious food!
Not a lot in this two-to-three block area, but a fine place to stop by for an hour or two. I'd suggest going around lunch for a nice meal at one of the pubs then check out the shops that might interest you. Or go for an ice cream treat at Lagomarcino's. You can do it all in the Village, and at a slow pace, and you can also walk over and enjoy the Mississippi River walking path, and bronze are work! Great place to be on warm summer day!
