What I really like about this museum... More

We have been to other space museums, but all pale to the KS Cosmosphere. The placement of artifacts, the pictures, the display selections all make this a one of a kind place to be! We all learn about the "space race" in school, but there is not a teacher on Earth that can show you the race like the Cosmosphere.... More

I love the cosmosphere. Love taking my kids there, especially around the State Fair time. We live south of Wichita, and even though I travel to Hutchinson regularly for work, the family trips have to be limited to the summer times. More

I’m an aerospace museum junkie… I’ve been to the Air & Space Museum on the Capitol Mall, Udvar-Hazy, Wright Patterson Air Force Museum, Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, Boeing Museum of Flight, The New Mexico Museum of Space History, plus many other small local museums. The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center is a very personal museum; the artifacts are approachable,... More

Very nicely done, like the Smithsonian in Kansas! They have great summer camps for the kids, too. More

Any space nut (or any person just somewhat interested in space) will enjoy their visit to the Kansas Cosmosphere & Space Center. The exhibits are extremely well done allowing the visitors to get up close and personal to authentic space capsules and other space hardware. I have made several trips to this space center and there are always new exhibits... More

My family and I traveled here and were amazed by the huge collection of space items.I highly recommend buying a combo ticket so you can see all four exhibits they have. Dr. Goddard's lab, the planetarium, the 360degree IMAX theater and the museum Dr. Goddard's lab was by far my kids favorite event of the day. The program was exciting... More
