Wonderful outdoor show for the whole family. They even have concerts in the park and an additional musical that is always fun!

The show holds your attention and is a great evening of outdoor entertainment. Good for the whole family, but probably best for if you leave the infants and toddlers at home.

This musical is certainly colorful. The costumes are beautiful. I was there on a cool night, and that put a "chill" on my enjoyment. Someone else should give it a better rating which I am sure it deserves. I am tone deaf, and sometimes I want to howl like a dog when a shrill voice pierces my ears.

I am bias. My younger sister played Jeannie in this show for years and years... so of course I think it is wonderful. But even if that were not the case, it is just a treat to sit outside under the stars watching about our local history, listening to good music and seeing the period costumes. I recommend whole heartedly

Entertaining and informative. Wonderful atmosphere outdoors under the stars. The costumes are absolutely gorgeous. They tell the Stephen Foster story in beautiful song. Details in the props are excellent. I think this play is appropriate for all ages. It is captivating and provides educational history as well.

I've seen the Stephen Foster Story every few years since its inception. The 70's were a bit weak with the black lights that accompanied a dence number that looked like he was on an acid trip. But, the past two decades have proven that the strengths of the story are in the basics- good acting, good singing and good dancing.... More

It's a must see Bardstown experience if the heat isn't prohibitive. Great show, but can be stifling in summer. Dress for heat.

We attended the Stephen Foster Musical in late July. The staff was wonderful and the production was lively and fun. The amphietheatre was clean and well kept. There wasnt a bad seat in the house. Even though the actors were unknown they were very beleivable. The only bad point was the parking.
