This was part of our Horse Farm Tour but is open to the public. If they are not racing you can watch the early morning workouts. There is Off Track Betting so people start arriving mid-morning. A restaurant is available and the club house is immaculately kept with beautiful grounds. Races are in April and October. There are sales coming... More

This is an absolutely beautiful place. As the horses were not running the day we were there, we are encouraged to return again someday, perhaps in the Fall.

Went in the morning and got to see exercise riders with the horses. While you can go visit on your own, the more interesting thing to do is go as part of a tour so you get the info and insights provided by the guides.

Everyone who visits Lexington when the horses are running at Kenneland has to go to Keeneland at least once. Bet once, you can bet as low as $0.50 on some races. Its a lots of fun. Limited, but decent, food choices unless you make reservations far in advance. If you can, try to Blue Moon BBQ concession.

What a great horse track for the first timer. Laid back, some folks in their own lawn chairs but still able to sip the mint juleps and get the feel of the track!

Even a visit while the horses are not running is worth it. The grounds are immaculate and to just quietly walk thru the paddock and out to the track is amazing. It would be great to go early in the morning just to watch the horses exercising. We also visited the Keeneland Library which is breathtaking in itself. Stop in... More

Arriving into LEX airport will give you some of the best views of Keenland and the surrounding horse country - some of the most beautiful you will see anywhere. Keenland races go on twice a year, however something a lot of folks do not know is that the grounds are open longer through the year with restaurant, shops, and ability... More

All horse racing fans should see Keeneland at least once. I was lucky enough to attend live racing here in April 2012, and I've been to the Derby party they host several times since 2009. It's a beautiful facility surrounded by the rolling hills of Kentucky Blue Grass and horse farms. The paddock area is lovely - and packed during... More
