Working with the basic elements of earth, water, air and fire, skilled artisans create timelessly beautiful dinnerware, bakeware, serving pieces and collectibles that can be enjoyed and cherished for many generations. Some designs are subtle—others are more striking and exuberant—but what they all have in common is an underlying belief that humble, everyday objects have an important place in our lives and homes. « less

Had a great time with the gal pals painting pottery. Friendly service, simple activity and not super expensive. Pick your piece, pick your colors, paint and leave the mess for the LS folks to clean up - you can't beat that! Recommend this as a fun afternoon for the ladies or family. Oh, and the store part is filled with... More

We go and paint our own pottery a couple times a year. Keep in mind it is very hot on warm days as the studio is not air conditioned.

Loved the tour and then painting our own pottery. The staff was very helpful in getting our pieces to "completion"! Very fun family experience!

We enjoyed looking through the various items and patterns available at Louisville Stoneware and purchased a couple of unique pieces. What we most enjoyed was going into the back room and looking at the original pieces available for purchase from artists as well as the seconds. Some of the originals are simply breathtaking. This was not our first visit and... More

I took my wife here on date night and we had a ball. The price was right. The variety of what we could do was nice. They were very hands on in helping me paint something that wouldn't look terrible. You do not leave with the item you painted that day (I say this for those of you with kids... More

Louisville Stoneware is a good place to visit; residents of our city like to go there to buy gifts or just to look. I have purchased some beautiful pieces there, both as gifts and for my own use. They have a showroom with beautiful pieces of pottery or you can have them make something for you. Not a fancy place,... More

We've been going for years to see the new work, meet the artist and make our own. They make it fun and interesting, we keep going back!
