I spoke with a number of people who loved the art surrounding Nellie's, but to me for some reason I found it kind of spooky. The Jams/Preserves are worth tasting and being able to buy those that you like tasting. Coffee & tea is available and some nibbles.

Read about this place in Down East Magazine and decided to take a trip and visit. Deer Isle is beautiful! The sculptures are amazing and lots of fun. We tasted the jams and chutneys and found them outstanding! Nice little shop too... Can mail order and they give you suggested cooking ideas for their chutneys... Worth the trip!

Peter Berrit's funky sculpture garden has expanded to a Wild West boardwalk town. What a fun place for the kids (and all young at hearts) to explore. Don't miss the scones and tea in the back of the jam store.

We stayed in Stonington and visited Nervous Nellie's for fun. We all bought jam or chutney, and I am loving the blueberry chutney! The sculptures are amazing, and the whole place is out of this world.
