I always thought the building was so neat - it dates from the 1890s and is interesting inside and out. They hold book sales, and as OGT has a lot of residents, you can pick up good books on the cheap.

This charming library located on Shore Road midway between the town of Ogunquit and Perkins Cove is worth a least a brief stop to admire its castle-like exterior and unique interior with the librarian seated at a desk in front of a humongous stone fireplace! And of course, one could always read a book!

This is a nice place to poke your head in. There are old photos on the walls that reveal the history and look of this important architectural site.

This beautiful stone building houses a nice collection of books----and watch for its book sales, which can't be beat.

This charming stone library has the charm of the 18th century. They have wonderful collections of books for sale (we had to go to the car several times), and their books for circulation caused us to stay for much longer than expected. Lovely items of interest, pleasant staff, and reading all their hisotical documents will make you want to return.

Reminds my of the library in the little town in Vermont where I grew up. Slighly musty smelling, lots of older books. The building is very attractive, but isn't a place you're likely to stay for very long...it would have to really be raining hard to spend all afternoon there!

The librarian was a delightful lady who gave us the history of a most beautiful library.
