We visited a week ago and the lighthouse was being painted, but at the old paint scrubbed off stage and therefore not worth photographing. Very disappointing, although guessing that it will be a temporary phase and improving soon. The Three Sisters, just up the road, are definitely worth a visit.

This was a nice quick stop on the way to see the rest of the cape -- the famous lighthouse on the Cape Cod Chips bag. Very short walk from the parking lot to where the light house has been moved to. You can use your cell phone to hear an informative narration about the attraction. Also park here &... More

Certainly worth the stop. We visited in the off season so there were barely any people around. It was quiet and picturesque. If you have ever seen the Cape Cod potato chips this is the lighthouse from the picture on the bag. There is a trail you can take (through some woods then along a street then through woods again)... The Nauset Light is in Eastham and was built as three towers in 1838. They were replaced by the Three Sisters that were made of wood. no longer functioning and moved aside but beautiful to look at. The current Nauset light succeeded them and has been in place since 1923

I love the view here. The waves crashing with the light house and a few sand dunes in your vista. It is gorgeous anytime of year. You are standing high above the ocean looking down, a must for picture lovers. Take a short drive up the street along the water so you are facing the light house a few hundread... More

We always hit the lighthouses at the end of the day so the kids can run around and it isn't too hot to enjoy the view. Plus the light at sunset makes for the best every vacation portraits.

One of the Cape's great picture opportunities! So many lights to see and photograph. All are unique.

Nauset Light Preservation Society has recently overseen the complete repainting of the cast iron stairway inside the Light. The entry floor and the second level floor have been redone as well. Looks great!

We are lighthouse fans and always try to visit lighthouses wherever we travel. Several to visit on Cape Cod. Some easy to get to - some only from a distance.
