Thee beach is fun. It's so big that the beach is not crowded but in the summer don't go aat high tide. Yoe will need to shuttle from the parking lot but it's not bad. pay close attention to the life guards because of a strong possible riptide.

Great beach area. Has outdoor shower to wash off the salt with. and rest rooms and changing rooms. The only thing I did not like that much...the showers had only cold water. Nice on a hot day, but cold on a cool day

I love to walk the beach and watch the seals play in the surf. a half mile walk to the south brings you to nauset inlet.
It was a perfect place to walk on a brisk winter day, to enjoy the surf and the scenery. The walk from the Salt Pond Visitor Center was full of lovely sights and sounds also!
We walked south until we couldn't go any further, and then walked back north until we ran out of daylight. It was beautiful!
We live on the Cape all summer and love Coast Guard Beach. It is beautiful and if you enjoy New England beaches and enjoy the cold water, this is great place. My heart sings here.

Visitors and surfers love the ocean here. The pummeling stones in the surf roughly massage your body! Actually, I like less frequented and quieter beaches better, but this is very beautiful.
