The Borden Family is one of the famous families buried here in the beautiful cemetery. Lizzie is here in the family plot, against her sister's wishes but her sister passed away before her.

We of course paired a visit here with a night at the Lizzie Borden House. The monument to the Borden family stands here near the graves of murder victims Andrew and Abby, as well as Lizzie and her sister Emma. The family plot is easy to find -- just follow the arrows on the pavement. The rest of the large... More

As a historian, visiting cemeteries is normal. This one is full of history and well tended. Families are grouped so it is easy to trace and look up those in a particular branch. Not far to walk from downtown and parking is easy, however I was there on a Saturday when it was -3. I had no map, but wandered... More

The reason we went there was to check out the Borden family graves. The signs directing you to those were excellent. At that early morning hour on a weekday the cemetery was a quiet place, with no visitors in sight. The weather was wet and foggy which made up to excellent photos.

If you are a mystery buff and you are interested in Lizzie Borden this is the cemetery where she is buried along with her family. The actual house where the murders took place is now a bed and breakfast and the Fall River Historical Society has alot of the artifacts

We went to "see" the Bordens, but honestly, it was a gorgeous old cemetery. The markers, stones & monuments would beautiful as well as the old iron fence. Great pictures!

It was interesting to see the grave sites of the Borden family. This is a very large place. There are arrows marked on the ground to allow finding graves easier.

Visited the Oak Grove Cemetery with my Grandmother's Cousin and his wife to visit our family plot. Learned a lot of history of our family, while we chatted, but I also got to take in a lot of the rest of the cemetery. There's roads throughout so you can drive your car to any particular area, but there's also parking... More
