As a historian, visiting cemeteries is normal. This one is full of history and well tended. Families are grouped so it is easy to trace and look up those in a particular branch.

The reason we went there was to check out the Borden family graves. The signs directing you to those were excellent. At that early morning hour on a weekday the cemetery was a quiet place, with no visitors in sight. The weather was wet and foggy which made up to excellent photos.
If you are a mystery buff and you are interested in Lizzie Borden this is the cemetery where she is buried along with her family. The actual house where the murders took place is now a bed and breakfast and the Fall River Historical Society has alot of the artifacts
We went to "see" the Bordens, but honestly, it was a gorgeous old cemetery. The markers, stones & monuments would beautiful as well as the old iron fence. Great pictures!
It was interesting to see the grave sites of the Borden family. This is a very large place. There are arrows marked on the ground to allow finding graves easier.
